I've tried therapy before and it didn't work...Most of our clients have tried other forms of treatment before coming to DBT. Some have had felt some benefits, but not enough. I want to do a group program but I'm nervous about groups..The group element of our DBT group program is not a 'sit in a circle & share' kind of group! It's an education-style group, so the focus is on learning new skills & concepts. You don't have to share anything you don't want to. And we never do ice-breakers!!!
