SOCIAL WORKER (MSW) & COUNSELLOR (DIP)
With over 15 years of experience in the mental health sector, Alicia has extensive experience working with young adults and students, addressing a range of concerns such as anxiety, stress, life transitions, depression, and grief.
A gentle and empathetic clinician, Alicia creates a safe and nurturing space for clients to heal, grow, and build the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.

DBT
Focuses on integrating skills and knowledge for distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
ACT
Helps individuals accept their thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, commit to values-based actions, and develop psychological flexibility to improve well-being.
Motivational Interviewing
Collaborative, goal-oriented counselling approach that helps individuals resolve ambivalence and strengthen their motivation for change.

Alicia integrates evidence-based approaches into her practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
